MISSION STATEMENT:

Firelands Rails to Trails, Inc. (FRTTI) is dedicated to completing the Huron County section of the North Coast Inland Trail. FRTTI will develop, maintain, and operate the trail on behalf of the owner group for the benefit of all citizens and visitors to the area. FRTTI will work to earn the support of citizens, organizations and businesses by making the best use of their expertise, equipment, materials, labor, and financial contributions. |

Take the scenic recreational tour across Northern Huron County... on The North Coast Inland Trail.
Stroll through the tunnel-like areas of heavy forests bordered by wide open fields. Walk, run, bike or gallop along endless fields of corn, soybeans, and wheat. Cross the Branches of the Huron River and its tributaries on ancient viaducts and modern bridges. Take in the views from high above and look out across the endless vistas. All of this and more - only on Huron County’s Rail Trail!
Huron County's rail trail is eco-friendly with a multitude of wildflowers, plants, trees, birds, animals and insects giving a great nature experience to trails users. We invite you to enjoy this recreational treasure throughout the year.
Memberships are what build your trail... membership dues and donations help us maintain miles of trail and membership numbers show potential grantors that we are serious about trail building in Huron County!
The best thing you can do to help us build your trail is to become a member and then tell a friend about it.
