Huron County, Ohio's 'North Coast Inland Trail'

Take the scenic recreational tour across Northern Huron County... on The North Coast Inland Trail.

Stroll through the tunnel-like areas of heavy forests bordered by wide open fields. Walk, run, bike or gallop along endless fields of corn, soybeans, and wheat. Cross the Branches of the Huron River and its tributaries on ancient viaducts and modern bridges.  Take in the views from high above and look out across the endless vistas.  All of this and more - only on Huron County’s Rail Trail!

These environments contain the multitude of wildflowers, plants, trees, birds, animals and insects; native and non-native to Northern Ohio. We invite you to experience this Huron County treasure throughout the year.
